Our Team.​

The clincal and academic faculty at UTHSC collaborate to bring current research and innovative treatment to the VYV Summer Program.  Graduate students conduct individual and group therapy under the supervision of licensed speech language pathologists with many years of experience.  Faculty advise student clinicians on treatment planning, implementation, reporting and generating a practical home program.  

Tricia Hedinger, MS, CCC-SLP

Ms. Hedinger is an assistant professor and clinical supervisor in the UT Hearing & Speech Center specializing in stuttering and childhood speech/language disorders.  She is the Camp Director and is responsible for program development, clinical supervision, camp registration & fundraising events.

Tim Saltuklaroglu, PhD, CCC-SLP

Dr. Saltuklaroglu is an associate professor in the department of speech-language pathology at UT.  He also conducts research on brain activity related to stuttering.  "Dr. Tim" is the VYV Program Advisor; he directs student education, provides treatment consultation and manages research development.

Autumn Sanderson, MA, CCC-SLP

Ms. Sanderson is an instructor and clinical supervisor in the UT Child Hearing Services Clinic.  She specializes in disorders related to hearing impairment and will provide supervision & consultation throughout camp.

Teresa Vaughn, MS, CCC-SLP

Ms. Vaughn is an associate professor and clinical supervisor specializing in autism, social language disorders, and speech/language disorders in school-aged children.  She will provide supervision consultation throughout camp.

Jestina Bunch
MS, CCC-SLP

Ms. Bunch is a clinical instructor  who specializes the treatment of children with hearing impairments.  She will provide supervision and consultation throughout camp.
